The update now lists Ethereum, Solana, and Arbitrum as supported chains for PYUSD, a notable change from a previous version archived on July 11 that omitted Arbitrum entirely.
Although no official announcement has been made, the updated terms also reflect new transaction limits for PYUSD on Arbitrum.
The stablecoin, issued by Paxos and launched in August 2023, was initially available only on Ethereum. It later expanded to Solana in May 2024, as part of PayPal’s broader strategy to enable low-cost, fast settlement digital payments.

Paxos itself integrated with Arbitrum in September 2024, signaling plans to bring its tokenization infrastructure to Layer 2 ecosystems.
The latest move further positions PYUSD as a cross-chain stablecoin for mainstream commerce—without fanfare.
