Massachusetts-based University entered in support of crypto & blockchain and also started to accept payments in Bitcoin.
Crypto adoption is continuously surging among the fund’s investors. But it is very rare for educational institutions to show an inclination toward this highly volatility-based money market, which applies to the stock as well as to the Crypto market. But recent years showed that the majority of the educational institutions are willing to include the crypto & blockchain-based industry in their ecosystem to increase awareness among the students.
Bentley University became the leader to accept payments in Bitcoin, for its tuition fees, for the students. However, some Universities are already accepting Bitcoin, for donation purposes but here Bentley University’s entry to accept digital assets for tuition fees is making it the leading educational institution to adopt Bitcoin.
Through the announcement, the University noted that they are taking such steps to ensure that the institute is a leader in terms of the adoption of early Technologies.

To accept payment & custody services, University established a partnership with US-based Nasdaq-listed crypto exchange Coinbase.
The announcement confirmed that the exchange will accept only Bitcoin & Ethereum. Besides these two crypto assets, University will accept USDC stablecoin. University also stated that such support will have to adopt suitable ways of payment for the families and students.
“The university is partnering with the crypto exchange Coinbase to accept three cryptocurrencies- Bitcoin, Ethereum, and the stablecoin USD Coin – giving students and their families new ways to pay their tuition.”
This University has its separate crypto & blockchain success story because University produced a student, who founded Bentley Blockchain Association.
E. Laurent Christie, President of Bentley University, appreciated such talents of the university.
