“After ~9 amazing years I’ve decided to wrap up my day job at @Ripple. Luckily, I’m not going far as I join the Board of Directors, where I’ll continue to provide input on the company’s vision + strategy. I haven’t decided what’s next, but plan to continue BUIDL in crypto.”

Asheesh also dragged name of the popular crypto exchange Mt.Gox (which is no more available in services due to hack incident) and Binance exchange as two popular crypto exchanges of the crypto history.

RippleNet former GM also talked about the crypto industry legend & founder of Ethereum blockchain Vitalik Buterin. He said that Vitalik worked out in Ripple’s office in 2013.

Ripple vs SEC

No doubt that Ripple is standing as a leading blockchain technology user company, which is continuously making payment systems better with the use of blockchain technology. But Ripple is currently under huge legal hurdles.

In December 2020, US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filed a lawsuit against Ripple. Through the filed lawsuit, the SEC agency claimed that Ripple’s XRP token is a security, which is not registered with the agency.
