Billy Markus defended Tesla boss Elon Musk against the allegations that Twitter is facing a significant surge in hateful conduct after last Saturday.
On Friday (28 October) Elon Musk completed his Twitter purchase deal for $44 Billion, where he also grab support from Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao. Zhao was supported with $500 million. Since 29 October, Twitter is under the full control of Elon.
Today Twitter’s Yoel Roth, head of safety & integrity at Twitter, shared that hateful conduct surged rapidly in the Twitter platform ecosystem, just after Saturday of last week.
Jason Calacanis, a close friend of the Tesla CEO, responded with a sarcastic phrase and said that obviously after the buyout of Twitter by Elon resulted in a surge of hateful conduct.
Billy Markus, the co-founder of Dogecoin who created Doge in 2012 with his friend, said that there was no hate on Twitter but it started after Elon purchased it.
“there was never any hate on this site before Elon bought it ever.… only nice, mature, constructive conversations….and now it is ruined.”
Tesla CEO also jumped into this conversation and said that he admits that he is responsible for this surge in hateful conduct on Twitter.
At the time of writing this article, the price of dogecoin is $0.139 and this price is 131% higher than the last 30 days’ trade price value. The sudden increment in the price of Dogecoin is because of the predictions that Twitter will introduce Dogecoin supported payment option in its ecosystem.
