Michael Saylor Says Bitcoin is a peaceful innovation 2

The former Microstrategy CEO used the image of Indian freedom fighter & top respected person Mahatma Gandhi to promote Bitcoin on Twitter.

Michael Saylor is the former CEO of the business intelligence firm Microstrategy. Since Aug 2020, Microstrategy started to add Bitcoin to the company’s balance sheet. To this date, Microstrategy holds a total of 132,500 BTC. In Q3 2022, Saylor stepped down from the CEO role & pledged to push Bitcoin-related new initiatives, so that the company may generate additional revenue with Bitcoin holding.

On 20 Feb 2023, Saylor shared an image of Mahatma Gandhi with the Bitcoin logo on his Twitter profile and said that Bitcoin is a peaceful innovation.

Earlier this, Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao (CZ) used Mahatma Gandhi’s name and there Saylor responded in his Bitcoin-supportive style.

Mahatma Gandhi & possible controversy

Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi is popularly known as Mahatma Gandhi. Gandhi was an Indian revolutionary, anti-colonial nationalist, and political ethicist who employed nonviolent resistance to lead the successful campaign for India’s independence from British rule and later inspire movements for civil rights and freedom across the world.

The majority of the Indian citizens respect Gandhi as a human God because he helped India to get freedom against foreign rulers.

An Indian crypto news website “CryptoNewsHindi” claimed that such tweets by these crypto proponents may act as a catalyst to start a new political fight because politicians only need only a small matter to start controversy.
