Ripple donated USD 750,000 to a relief fund to help the affected people of recent earthquakes in Turkey & Syria.
On 6 Feb 2023, Many provinces in Syria & Turkey faced high-magnitude earthquake attacks. More than 2,000 people died and thousands of people were injured badly. Governments & organizations from the corresponding countries are doing their best to help the citizens amid this critical situation through rescue operations.
On 15 Feb 2023, Ripple announced USD 750,000 donations to multiple relief funds, which are providing rescue operations & support to the recent earthquake Victims in Turkey & Syria.
The rippled team confirmed that the company donated $250k worth of XRP tokens directly and the rest of the funds were in fiat.

The San Francisco-based Fintech firm also invited people to donate crypto funds and pledged to donate double the amount of donation against all the public crypto donations.
Ripple vs SEC
Ripple is a San Francisco-based Fintech company, known to provide cross-border payment services to small & big companies. At present time, this company is in legal hurdles with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) because SEC filed a lawsuit against Ripple company in Dec 2020.
