Francis Suarez submitted legal paperwork to run for US presidential election.
In 2024, US citizens will welcome a new president for the country. So far around half a dozen US presidential candidates directly & Indirectly confirmed that they will support Bitcoin & crypto-friendly policies if elected in the 2024 presidential election.
On 15 June 2023, Media reports confirmed that Francis Suarez, the current Miami Mayor, filed paperwork with the Federal Election Commission to run for the Presidential election of US 2024.

Francis is a highly Bitcoin-friendly politician in the US. Last time, he was elected by Miami’s citizens for the second time back to back.
During the last Mayoral election, Francis promised to accept a salary in Bitcoin & also he did the same. In the past, he promised to make Miami a hub of digital Innovations & successfully dragged huge numbers of crypto firms in the state.
In May of this year, some Bitcoin proponents urged the Miami Mayor to run for the next US presidential election, as he supported the Bitcoin Miami 2023 confidence.
Last month, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis submitted documents to the Federal Election Commission to run for the Presidential election of US 2024.
DeSantis already confirmed that he will support Bitcoin & crypto sector-friendly policies if he wins the US 2024 presidential election.
Vivek Ramaswamy, another Indian origin US presidential candidate, also confirmed that he will accept Bitcoin donations for his presidential campaign.
US presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. also announced that he will accept Bitcoin donations for his presidential campaign activities.
In the past, Kennedy supported Bitcoin, against the Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDCs) concept.
