Vivek Ramaswamy openly supported cryptocurrencies and said that digital assets should be categorised as Commodity class assets.
Vivek Ramaswamy is a 38-year-old American entrepreneur who is mainly known for Roivant Sciences, a pharmaceutical company, founded by him in 2014. In Feb of this year, Ramasw announced his candidacy for the US presidential election 2024. Vivek was born in Cincinnati and his parents are Indian immigrants.
On 16 Nov 2023, Vivek Ramaswamy appeared in an interview with popular crypto news media Coindesk TV and in the interview he shared his opinion on the most controversial thing e.g legal status & nature of cryptocurrencies.
Ramaswamy said that the majority of the cryptocurrencies are Commodities, not securities.

Earlier in Sep of this year, he talked about the unregulated crypto industry evolving in the US jurisdiction and said that he has plans to bring a crypto regulation framework to regulate the sector under precise rules & laws.
All these things show that US presidential candidate Ramaswamy is a bitcoin-friendly American politician and he will surely bring some better changes for the crypto industry if he wins the election next year.
Currently, there are 21 candidates in the presidential election race and few of them are crypto-friendly. These candidates are Ron DeSantis, Vivek Ramaswamy, Nikki Haley, and Francis Suarez.
The majority of Bitcoin proponents believe that 2024 will welcome a Bitcoin-friendly president in America. By considering this fact, some experts believe that the US presidential election will play a vital role in pumping the Bitcoin price.
