Reddit & Google jumped in a partnership contract to boost the training of Google’s AI chatbot.
Google is a very big company, a subsidiary of Alphabet. Google launched its artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot Gemini on February 8, 2024. Gemini is in its very initial phase of training, as many people noticed that it is giving many controversial results which reflects the lack of training of Google’s AI chatbot. Google Cloud is also engaged in the blockchain & Web3 related multiple development activities since the last 3 years, as we saw many partnerships with some crypto projects last year.
In the latest, giant American social media platform Reddit jumped in a partnership with Google. Under this partnership, Reddit will provide its all old as well as new data via API for Gemini chatbot.
With the help of Reddit’s data, Gemini will get a better level of training, as expected.
In return Reddit will utilise Vertex AI, Google’s AI-driven service tailored to improve search outcomes for businesses. In short this collaboration is going to bring huge benefits for Reddit as well as Google.
In this initial phase of Gemini’s age, Google is facing huge criticism.
Many reddit users said that it is basically a very bad decision to adopt Gemini for the Reddit platform, because Gemini’s results are very bad & terrible.

In the S-1 filing with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Reddit team disclosed that company swapped a significant amount of cash into cryptocurrencies and also said that they will use those cryptocurrencies as an experimental purpose to develop an alternative best virtual payment service for the Reddit platform.
