El Salvador is a highly popular country in the world. The popularity of this country surged rapidly in the mid of 2021, following the country’s president’s decision for Bitcoin adoption as a legal tender. In Sep of the same year, El Salvador adopted Bitcoin as an alternative currency. The country’s Bitcoin adoption strategy played a vital role to attract tourists in the country. In the mid of 2023, El Salvador’s government partnered with a group Volcano Energy to establish the world’s largest Bitcoin mining farm.

Country’s president Nayib Bukele took to X (formerly Twitter) to criticise all those critics who badly criticised him several times for the country’s Bitcoin-related plans when the trade price of Bitcoin was down.
Bukele asked where are all those reporters who criticised him but disappeared when the country is at 40% profit.
The El Salvador president said that now bitcoin price is high, then why are they not reporting the country’s Bitcoin profit news?
Furthermore, Bukele said that the country’s main Bitcoin earning source is the citizenship program and country will never sell its Bitcoin holdings for profit/loss.
Notably, all the facts shared by Bukele are 100% correct. As per some reports, the majority of the negative reports regarding Bukele’s Bitcoin adoption plan are backed by the opposition political leaders.
Because of better leadership for the country’s GDP growth & fight against criminal gangs, Bukele again secured a major win in the country as the president, in Feb 2024.
