Bitcoin vs Gold
As we know, the trade price of Bitcoin surged rapidly in the last 8-9 months and recently hit a $73k price level, a new all-time high for BTC.
Amid the increasing popularity & trend among investors, many Bitcoin proponents speculated that Bitcoin is going to eat Gold’s market, as recently Bitcoin spot ETF market surpassed the Silver market.
By addressing such speculations, Saylor also said that Bitcoin is going to eat Gold, as we can teleport digital gold (Bitcoin) from New York to Tokyo in a few minutes.
Saylor also talked about the upcoming Bitcoin halving event and called it an important development. In the last few weeks, many people talked about the supply & demand of Bitcoin ahead of the halving event.
The former Microstrategy CEO anticipates that this surge in Bitcoin numbers will persist until November 2034, coinciding with the projected completion of 99% of Bitcoin mining. This milestone will trigger scarcity due to the capped supply, heightening competition among investors.
By explaining this fact, he said that the majority of the big & small players will accumulate Bitcoins between 2024 to 2034 and after that it will not be easy.
