Popular Bitcoin hater Schiff says he can’t sacrifice his integrity just to gain followers 

Peter Schiff responded against the allegations of misusing the “Bitcoin” word as a title for his tweet to gain social media attention.

Peter Schiff is a US global chief economist. He keeps promoting Gold & Gold ETF as the best investment option to fight against inflation but at the same time, he criticises Bitcoin. Schiff never misses an opportunity to criticise Bitcoin & Bitcoin proponents. Many times he called Bitcoin a useless digital asset that is backed by nothing. However, the majority of the Bitcoin proponents keep criticising him but he never stops passing Bitcoin hate comments.

On 19 May 2024, Peter Schiff wrote on X (formerly Twitter) and said that he is tired of crypto people who always claim that he passes negative comments against Bitcoin only to maximise his social media engagement. 

Schiff said that such claims are not true & also explained that if he was willing to get social media attention then he would support Bitcoin.

Furthermore, he said that he would never sacrifice his integrity just to attract followers or increase social media engagement.

I'm tired of people claiming I'm only against #Bitcoin to generate social media engagement. That's ridiculous. If my goal was to maximize engagement I'd come out in favor of Bitcoin. But I'm not willing to sacrifice my integrity just to attract followers or increase engagement.

In response, popular crypto market insider & X3 founder Andrew suggested Schiff to delete his X account.

Another Crypto enthusiast said if Schiff is true with his words then he should never mention Bitcoin in his future tweets again. 

According to this crypto enthusiast, Peter knows very well that criticising Bitcoin helps him to get attention. So here no one is going to believe him anymore. He also alleged that he makes money from the social media attention, only because of Bitcoin.

Peter, if that’s true than never bring up $BTC again. But it’s not, so you will. By going anti Bitcoin that is what drives your engagement and you know this. Nobody believes anything you say lol. You have become the poster child for the $BTC community by being wrong over and over…
