The listing marks a major milestone for the fast-growing platform and introduces PUMP to the largest regulated crypto exchange in the United States.
Coinbase stated that trading for the PUMP-USD pair will begin on or after 9:00 AM ET on July 15, 2025, pending adequate liquidity. The token will carry an “Experimental” label, signaling higher risk and limited support compared to more established assets.
Importantly, the exchange warned users not to send PUMP across non-Solana networks, as doing so could result in lost funds. Only Solana SPL transfers will be supported.

While PUMP has gained traction in recent months through viral meme activity and community engagement, its Coinbase debut adds a layer of legitimacy—and visibility—that could draw new attention to the memecoin sector on Solana.
However, support for PUMP may be limited in some jurisdictions, according to the exchange.
