In a recent market update, Wedson noted an unusual decoupling between Bitcoin and altcoins—a pattern he says often signals incoming volatility.
He also flagged the rising Altcoin Season Index, which, while typically bullish for alternative coins, has historically preceded sudden market rebalancing led by Bitcoin.

Adding to the concern, Alphractal’s proprietary Alpha Quant system has triggered a sell signal, reflecting both technical weakness and apparent selling activity from large holders.
While Wedson doesn’t believe this marks the end of the current cycle, he sees potential for a sharp correction that could define a new price base.
