Market Analysis
Bitcoin is beginning the week on solid footing, trading comfortably above $65,000 and heading toward a fourth consecutive weekly gain after fluctuating between $63,700 and $65,500 over recent sessions. The move has come despite approximately $465 million in net outflows from U.S. Spot Bitcoin ETFs over the final two trading days of last week, ending a seven-session inflow streak.
Analysts generally view the ETF outflows as a result of leveraged long-position liquidations rather than broad investor capitulation, with long positions accounting for the majority of forced liquidations.
Meanwhile, macroeconomic conditions continue to provide support. U.S. liquidity has expanded in recent weeks as the Federal Reserve’s reverse repo facility has largely been depleted, a development many market participants believe is helping channel capital toward risk assets such as cryptocurrencies. Investors are now looking ahead to the July U.S. CPI report, scheduled for August 12, which could shape expectations for future Federal Reserve policy.
Ethereum is outperforming the broader market, gaining more than 4% during the session and over 6% during the past week after moving above its 100-day moving average — a widely watched bullish technical signal. XRP continues to consolidate near $1.10, while DeFi-related tokens such as AAVE and ONDO have posted some of the strongest gains among major altcoins.
Overall sentiment remains balanced. While technical indicators have improved considerably, investors continue monitoring ETF flows, macroeconomic developments and regulatory progress before committing to a stronger directional move.

Bottom Line
Crypto markets continue to demonstrate resilience, with Bitcoin maintaining support above $65,000 and Ethereum extending its recent technical breakout. Although ETF outflows and regulatory uncertainty remain short-term headwinds, improving liquidity conditions and steady institutional interest continue to support the broader market. Investors are now turning their attention to upcoming U.S. inflation data, which may provide the next major catalyst for digital asset prices.
