📈 Market Analysis
Bitcoin led another strong session, surging past $74,600 as the total crypto market cap climbed to $2.56 trillion. The rally is broad-based rather than BTC-only: Solana, XRP, Chainlink and Dogecoin all posted double-digit or near-double-digit gains, while Ethereum’s advance was comparatively modest after a much larger move the day before. That deceleration in ETH’s pace, even as the Fear & Greed Index jumped from 62 to 72 (Greed), suggests momentum is broadening across the altcoin layer.
Institutional flows are reinforcing the move. U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs pulled in roughly $853 million last week, their strongest weekly haul since mid-April, with BlackRock’s IBIT and ETHA products accounting for the bulk of it. Ether, Solana, XRP and Hyperliquid-linked funds also logged net inflows. Still, Bitcoin ETFs remain in net outflow for 2026 as a whole.
Macro remains the key swing factor heading into September. Traders are watching the FOMC decision closely, with markets roughly split on a hike versus a cut, and Bitcoin’s historical September returns running on the weaker side. Regulatory developments — including stalled Senate negotiations over the crypto market-structure bill and the CFTC signaling it will advance rules with or without that legislation — add further uncertainty even as short-term price action stays firmly risk-on.

✅ Bottom Line
Sentiment has flipped sharply from fear to greed in the space of a week, and the rally is now spreading well beyond Bitcoin into major altcoins. With ETF inflows turning positive and the Fear & Greed Index edging toward euphoric territory, the setup favors continued short-term strength — but a stalled market-structure bill and an uncertain September Fed decision mean the higher-beta names could give back gains quickly if sentiment turns.
