Land Auctions In The Shiberse
Archangel, one of the leading influencers for Shiba, announced yesterday during the ShibaGuruAMA that there will be 99,000 land plots in the upcoming Shiberse.

According to Archangel, the launch will be a 10-day ‘land event’ where $LEASH (Doge Killer) holders will get priority access to view, bid, and purchase land plots in the Shiberse.
However, the release of land plots will happen in two batches, with only 35,000 plots initially released. After those land plots are sold out, the second batch of lands will be open to the public and not just $LEASH holders. More details on the bidding system will be announced closer to Shiberse’s release date.
The floor price for land plots has not yet been revealed, but it’s expected that land will range from 0.2 – 1 ETH, with more expensive properties located closer to the dog park. Transaction options in the Shiberse will include all tokens in the Shiba Inu ecosystem ($SHIB, $BONE, and $LEASH). Yet, to purchase land plots, investors will need to pay in Ethereum, regardless of their priority status for purchasing land.
There were a couple of other interesting notes about land in the Shiberse that were announced as well. To level the playing field for investors (we know whales like SHIB…), the maximum one “wallet” can purchase is 100 land plots that are 10 x 10. Additionally, to reward Shiboshi NFT holders, 2000 land plots will be exclusively reserved for them.

Shiba Inu Continues Development
Although the Shiba Inu token was initially created to outcompete the first dog meme coin ($DOGE), the team continues to dive deeply into their decentralized ecosystem by creating utility for the token. In the last couple of months, they have announced their first DAO, have planned their metaverse, are developing their layer 2 solution (the Shibarium), and have even ironed out the issues with their DEX (ShibaSwap, to get started, click here).
Another developing project in the Shiba Inu ecosystem is their new Shiba Inu game. Shiba Inu partnered with the ex-VP of Activision Studios (William Volk) to develop their game. During the AMA, he said the following:
”I want to make it clear this is not just a clone of an existing game. Collectible card games are really kind of unique. Something that is very interesting about it is that it has a very sustainable economy. It includes both the mobile and blockchain game,”
A moderator of the official Shiba Inu discord disclosed that the pseudonymous founder of Shib (Shytoshi KUsame) told her an important announcement that will be remembered forever will be made in the coming days.
