The vice president of the popular meme coin project Safemoon decided to quit the project.
The safemoon was a popular meme coin last year because of the huge promotion of this crypto asset with the endorsement of multiple celebrities & social media stars. The safemoon is currently standing at 2979th rank by 24 hours trading volume.
On 8 March, Charles Karony, Vice President at Safemoon project, announced on Twitter that he decided to quit from the project to complete the pending college education.
“I have made the difficult, but important decision to transition from my formal role with #SAFEMOON to return to college & complete my degree. I am extremely proud of all SafeMoon has accomplished, & extremely grateful for the opportunity I’ve played in this unique journey.”
Charles also confirmed that he will remain a holder and also remain active to the community regarding the news on this project, but surely he will not remain at any official position in the project.
lawsuit against the Safemoon project team
Recently a person filed a lawsuit against the backend company of the Safemoon project. Plaintiff claimed that the project team tried to attract huge Investors to make money by promoting the project with the endorsement of many celebrities.
Through the lawsuit, Plaintiff also claimed that the team did nothing than what it promised to work with the Safemoon project, so the price of this coin is continuously getting down and it is low since December of last year.
A Twitter user noted that such decisions are part of the recent lawsuit action against this project.
