Francis Suarez wants to see Bitcoin in everything, where people can use Bitcoin to buy daily needs items for anything.

Francis Suarez is Mayor of Miami and right now he is again in his political power because of the Miami citizen’s support. In 2021, Francis grabbed huge popularity with his announcement to accept salary in Bitcoin, and also he completed his promise this year. This is Francis Suarez, who is responsible for pushing some other Mayors to support Bitcoin.

Recently in “Bitcoin 2022”, Miami Mayor Francis passed statements in favour of Bitcoin’s future. He said that he wants to see the next US president as a bitcoin-friendly candidate.

“The next president of the United States has to be a pro-bitcoin candidate.”

Indirectly Francis hinted that in the future he may be a US presidential candidate, who will be pro-bitcoin.

“I thought, ‘how can I go bigger, and I thought I can make an announcement, that I’m running for…Nah, not this year.”

Francis pointed toward “Vision for Bitcoin America 2024” and noted that he doesn’t only want to see a Bitcoin-friendly presidential candidate but also wants to see a better regulatory framework, where people can easily use Bitcoin to buy daily life services.

The overall goal of the Miami Mayor is to unlock the real power of Bitcoin with the use of this blockchain technology to make every citizen outside of the poverty level and drag from an unbanked situation.

“Bitcoin has the power to democratize and to create wealth for the unbanked and the poor in our community who are getting decimated by inflation and government spending that has run rampant.”

Earlier in December of last year, in an interview with Real Vision, Miami Mayor said that he wants to save some part of his salary in Bitcoin as a retirement fund, of his own choice.

“I just think it is a good asset to be invested in. I think it’s going to appreciate over time. It’s one that I believe in.”
