On 26 Jan 2024, Peter Schiff took to X and alleged that Bitcoin proponents were trying to shut down his Bank accounts with the help of fake allegations of money laundering & tax evasion via those media reporters who were proven false in his winning defamation lawsuit.
Some Bitcoin enthusiasts claimed that Peter used the Bitcoin name in his X’s Tweet post because he wanted to get attention from the crypto sector and simultaneously defame Bitcoin.
On the same day, Peter also claimed that Bitcoin proponents will remain always in support of Bitcoin even if Bitcoin crashes to $100 in 2031. They will call Bitcoin’s performance above gold and also they will call its price 100× more over the last 20 years.
Some Bitcoin proponents jumped against him and said that Bitcoin will be more than $1 million in 2031. In response Global economists said that it will be possible if the U.S. dollar goes the way of the German Papiermark.
Earlier a few days ago, Peter said that Bitcoin is nothing except an artificial name with a limited supply and supporters of this artificially created digital object call to hold with the hope that it will pump.
