Binance & BingX crypto exchanges showed full donation support to the affected people in Brazil, amid the high flood situation.

In the present time over 1.45 million individuals have been impacted by widespread floods across 417 out of 497 cities in the state. Rescue operations have been hindered, leaving numerous people stranded in their homes, awaiting evacuation via boats or helicopters. Rescue teams are navigating flooded areas in search of survivors.

On 10 May 2024, The Chief product officer of BingX crypto exchange Vivien Lin announced that the exchange decided to double every donation made through the platform in cryptocurrency, making every contribution go further.

BingX CPO also said that these donations are more than donations because they represent more than just giving money; it’s a sign of hope and shows cryptocurrency can help us support each other during tough times, no matter where we are in the world.

Just a couple of days ago, the Binance crypto exchange also announced support to all the Brazilian flood-affected people & pledged to donate $1 million.

Also currently many Crypto proponents are working to raise funds in crypto assets to prepare & deliver food to help people to survive amid this critical situation.

A crypto X user Gerin.eth reported that last day he delivered 350 kg of food to those affected people, with the help of community support.

This is not the first time that crypto exchanges have shown their support for people in a natural disaster situation, earlier Binance like many other crypto exchanges contributed with their reserved funds in every bad situation to help people to survive.
