Donald Trump to back Solana network-based meme token $DJT: Rumour 

Reportedly former US president Donald is planning to support the $DJT meme token. 

Donald Trump is currently busy with the US presidential election campaign, gaining significant support from both crypto and non-crypto communities. Recently, he has shown strong support for Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, positioning himself as a crypto-friendly candidate in the 2024 election, driven by political competition.

On 18 June 2024, In a surprising turn of events, a Solana-based meme coin called TrumpCoin (DJT) surged by over 368% in the last 24 hours. 

Today the trade price of this meme token hits about $0.025.

Ryan Selkis, the CEO and founder of Messari crypto, issued a strong warning to investors, hinting that the Federal Reserve (FED) could potentially be linked to the account.

Selkis expressed uncertainty about the legitimacy of the Trump memecoin, estimating a 50-50 chance that it might be a setup or operation. 

He offered to assist those who contacted them with legal and business introductions but refused any compensation because they suspected the person who approached them might be a federal agent. The Messari founder advises others to stay safe. 

I’m not 100% sure whether the Trump memecoin is real or an op, but I’m 50-50.

I offered to help the people that reached out with legal and biz intros but told them I wouldn’t take anything in return because I got the vibes that the guy who approached me is a Fed.

However, the trade price of this new Trump-inspired meme surged rapidly but simultaneously the trade price of other Trump-inspired meme tokens plummeted badly. 

The Ethereum-based Trump-inspired meme token MAGA (TRUMP) coin dropped over 36% in the last 24 hours to around $6.87.

 Another Trump-themed coin, MAGA Again (MAGAA), also fell by more than 47%, now trading at about $0.013.

People need to understand that Trump does not officially support any of these crypto tokens. Be cautious before investing in such tokens.
