Popular crypto exchange Robinhood will start its crypto gift services on 22 December to grab new users.
Robinhood is a popular crypto exchange in the US and it is popularly known as a rival of Coinbase exchange. Like Coinbase, the services of Robinhood crypto exchange are not limited to only the US.
As we know, we are in the last month of this year, and Christmas Eve is very near. So Robinhood exchange created a new service for its users to give crypto-based gifts to friends and families, to push crypto adoption among those people, who are not in crypto.
Robinhood exchange announced that crypto gift services will start from 22 December, where Robinhood exchange users will be allowed to create a crypto coupon gift card with a minimum of $1 worth of Bitcoin.
In order to ensure that the gift recipient didn’t lose the coupon, Robinhood will give a time of 15 days to redeem the coupon by the user through a trading app wallet, without any charge.
Christine Brown, Robinhood Crypto COO, and Lead shared thoughts about this new initiative with the Cointelegraph news website and said that it is going to be the simplest way to gift crypto assets, for those who are already fans of crypto.
“It is also an easy and immediate gift for those that are already crypto fans.”
However, this initiative of Robinhood is not new at all because recently PayPal, Coinbase, and Block announced the same type of feature to give crypto gifts.
Through the announcement, Robinhood exchange didn’t confirm whether this feature will remain available after the end of the holiday or not.
Around a month ago, the Robinhood crypto exchange grabbed huge attention from the Shiba inu community. The Shiba inu community forced the Robinhood exchange to list the Shiba inu token but Robinhood exchange clearly said that they are happy because of huge support and expectations but they will not list Shiba because they want security at first for the users.
